Michael’s fascination with antiques began at age six. By thirteen he was buying and selling collectibles to earn money for Christmas gifts while his father and brother served overseas — an early venture that grew into a lifelong career.

After earning his Bachelor’s degree in History and Sociology, he briefly considered teaching before finding his calling in the auction industry. In the decades since, Michael has guided hundreds of families through the sale of thousands of items, bringing professionalism, integrity, and genuine care to every consignment.

He joined Secondwind in July 2025 to lead the company’s auction division, where he continues doing what he loves most: connecting treasured possessions with the people who will cherish them next.
